18th December 2007 - Najam Sheraz and Sean Wright - 14 new songs
So when the creative dust (of close to 50 hours work finally settled), Sean Wright and Najam Sheraz had written 14 new songs together. They are vocal/guitar imprints, with more work to be done next year. But the lyrics and melodies are there. "We had a fine time writing them," Sean Wright said.
Nov 29th 2007 Sean Wright Records With Najm Sheraz
Sean Wright has written and recorded a new song called "Runaway Train" which features South Asian popstar Najam Sheraz. Wright said, "My very good friend Najam Sheraz made a flying visit to my home yesterday evening. After we'd been out for dinner, I played him "Runaway Train" and he loved it. We re-recorded the chorus and outro vocals to "Runaway Train." It sounds great. Plus there's a new counter-melody line at the end of the chorus.
"Then this evening I raced Najam to the train station and he travelled back to London for another meeting with the film guys shooting his new video. Happy days.
"I'm now busy writing new lyrics, too, for a 2008 album-project collaboration with Mr Sheraz. Exciting times indeed."
